On 20.05.2026, Łukasiewicz – Krakow Institute of Technology hosted students from the Stanislaw Staszic Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow, from the Faculty of Non-ferrous Metals.
During the visit, participants had the opportunity to learn about selected areas of our research activities, including:
– high-temperature corrosion;
– Non-destructive testing – including CT scans;
– high-temperature research;
– and incremental technologies such as Selective Sintering
and Laser Melting of Metal Powders (SLS/SLM).
We are pleased that we were able to introduce students to the practical dimension of materials research and present technological facilities that support the development of innovative solutions for industry. We would like to thank you for your visit, and our researchers Izabela Krzak, M.Sc., Magdalena Bisztyga-Szklarz, M.Sc., Grzegorz Bruzda, M.Sc., and Andrzej Stwora, M.Sc., for their commitment and time.
